In my 3rd year after SMILE LASIK, my vision was corrected from about -5 in each eye to 1.2 in both eyes. My eyes only hurt for a day or two, and it wasn't too much of a burden. But until 6 months after the surgery, I had some glare. It bothered me a bit when driving at night, but it gradually got better. Aside from that, my dry eyes became much worse than before. A feeling of being tired every day...? But even if I went back, I think I'd have the surgery again..
