I had surgery when the heat wave and humidity were at their peak, but recovery was faster than I expected. I thought having surgery in summer would be hard because of oozing and sweat, but there was no oozing, and I lived with the air conditioner on, so I didn’t even feel like it was hard. If anything, because it was hot, I even felt like my blood circulation improved and the swelling went down well.. It’s been 1 month now, and I think most of the major swelling is almost gone. It still feels like I had surgery, but the incision line is clean, and I think there won’t be any problem once the redness fades more. I kept debating between two clinics, and I’m satisfied that I made a good decision. I just hope the minor swelling goes down more. Everyone having surgery in summer, hang in there. Unless you’re staying out under the blazing sun, I don’t think there’s anything particularly difficult about aftercare.
