I was so disappointed when I heard that Director Choi 00, who had been famous at a well-known plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam for his many eye-surgery reviews and skill, had left. Then I finally searched online and found out that he had opened his own clinic, and I was so happy. The plastic surgery clinic that Director Choi 00 opened near Gangnam Station was, unlike the previous clinic, very calm, clean, and trustworthy. It made me think that I really should never go to a factory-style clinic again. I was so grateful to be able to meet the energetic and kind director here, and because the detailed consultation and explanation reassured me, I scheduled the surgery date right away and even introduced a friend. My friend, who is normally very afraid of surgery, also decided on surgery right after the director’s consultation. I wanted to get surgery quickly, so two days later I went ahead without hesitation and had non-incisional buried-suture double eyelid surgery and lateral/lower canthoplasty. The reason I didn’t hesitate was that I had incisional double eyelid surgery 20 years ago, but as I got older my skin sagged, and if things went wrong it looked like I would end up needing upper blepharoplasty. However, the director said that even an incisional double eyelid could be addressed with non-incisional double eyelid surgery, and that through ptosis correction I might avoid upper blepharoplasty, so I judged that it would be wise to do it before I got older. Friends around me wondered, “Is that really possible?” but I was certain because I had complete trust in the director, who is known for the Jang Won-young eye style. And now, one week after surgery, my previously asymmetric eyes have been made symmetric, and even though it was revision surgery, I’m sure they will turn out beautifully. The canthoplasty is so natural that no one would notice, thanks to the doctor’s hand skills, which even my doctor husband acknowledged, so I’m very satisfied. I was surprised by the very stable and neat operating room and recovery room, the anesthesia was comfortable, and there was no pain at all during the surgical process, so I felt good. Infinite trust in the director! Once the swelling goes down more, I’m sure it will look even prettier, so I’m very grateful, and I plan to keep entrusting my eyes to the director. My friend is also looking forward to it a lot, and she says even her husband, who had been against it, is now reacting as if he’s excited and looking forward to it. I guess husbands may not say it, but they like it when their wives become prettier. Some may ask why get plastic surgery at this age, but when the eyelids sag and the existing double eyelids can’t be seen, it’s extremely stressful. I think women need to take care of themselves more as they age. Rather, not taking care of oneself may be the problem. If you haven’t had the courage, I hope you try mustering it once. For eye surgery, Director Choi Jung-hoon really is the one. His confident manner makes me trust him even more.
