Last year, after deciding to have surgery and looking around at different places, because my job involves meeting people every day, and since I was also wearing a mask, I worried that if I got lower canthoplasty, I might look too unnatural during the initial overcorrection period. After having the surgery, unless someone looked closely up close, the bruising, swelling, and stitches really didn’t show, so if I didn’t say anything, people wouldn’t know. My eyes didn’t have much space for posterior canthoplasty, so they couldn’t open them up a lot, and lowering the outer eye corners was also a very natural correction compared with lower canthoplasty, so there wasn’t a huge change. But compared with before surgery, my impression definitely became softer, so I’m satisfied. For the first few weeks, I think there was a bit of a pulling feeling when I smiled, but it wasn’t uncomfortable and it didn’t interfere with daily life, so it felt more like getting a procedure than surgery ^^
