It’s been 2 years since my two-jaw surgery. At first, the area around my mouth felt numb, like I had gotten anesthetic injections, but as time passed, all the sensation came back. Since my mouth moved inward, my lips rolled inward, and because the maxilla was moved, my nose also widened a little. But when I think about being able to eat food with my front teeth now, I’m satisfied.
