I was trying to quickly go around for consultations and get surgery before my vacation, but after going to consultations, it really isn't easy. Still, I don't want to decide as if I'm being chased by something. The longer I spend thinking about it, the more my judgment seems to get clouded, so this is a clinic-hopping review I'm writing partly to organize my own thoughts. I hope it helps everyone, even a little! I'll get straight to the consultation details.
Clinic 1 The first place I went. It is run together with a dermatology clinic (skin, breasts) / Virtual plastic surgery is available. They measured the size while marking my breasts with a makeup pen, took photos with a tablet, and did a simulation / The director kindly examined me well, for about 15 minutes? / Lifetime free AS / No capsular contracture medication / Over 20 years of experience / They said it would be done under sedation / No limit on the number of aftercare sessions. They provide swelling care, Caps care, and scar laser care.
Overall review: I liked that they didn't pressure me and just explained the characteristics, pros, and cons of each implant so I could choose freely. But the virtual plastic surgery was just a simulation, so it didn't really give me a good sense of what my breasts would actually become. Honestly, I thought simply trying on implants gave a better feel. (This is really subjective... anyway, that was my thought.) Diagnosis: 320-335 cc Motiva or Mentor Xtra, dual plane, inframammary fold incision
Clinic 2 Breast-specialized breast surgery clinic / One director / The consultant and desk staff were all kind, and the atmosphere was very upbeat / Even though it was our first meeting, they welcomed me energetically as if we had just seen each other yesterday. Overall, the consultant first did a light breast assessment, then it moved on to the director consultation / With the director, about 5 minutes? He took actual measurements, checked tissue quality, and gave a diagnosis. The rest was back with the consultant / General anesthesia / Lifetime free AS / Capsular contracture medication for 3 months / Over 20 years of experience / Basic aftercare for 1 year, plus additional care available. Unlimited swelling care, Caps care, scar care, and texture care.
Overall review: There weren't that many photo reviews, so I had a lot of questions, but once I went, I was able to see many before-and-after photos of actual surgical patients, which was good. The consultant said she had been there since the clinic opened, and maybe because of that, it felt like she knew breast surgery inside out. She explained things like the pros and cons of surgery and possible side effects very factually. Rather, after this consultation, breast surgery, which I had been thinking of lightly, started to feel heavier, and I had a lot more to think about. I thought I should decide carefully. I went thinking I might make a same-day reservation, but once I actually got there, I didn't know how I should decide, so I couldn't make a same-day reservation. But both consultants didn't pressure or push me at all, and instead told me to go home, think it over enough, and contact them. I really liked that there was no burden. Anyway, I currently have a reservation at one of these two places, but I won't say which one! The judgment is up to each person, so I hope everyone thinks it over enough and makes a good decision for themselves.
I'll go get my surgery done well too!!!!
