After consulting several places, they all said incision was the only answer for ptosis, but I hesitated about incision, so I chose this hospital. This was the only director who said they could do fat grafting around the eyes and, at the same time, use the buried suture method to redefine my faded double eyelid line. The eye fat grafting cost was on the higher side, but since it is an area they specialize in, I trusted them and went ahead. I’ll know the result once the swelling has completely gone down, but so far the ptosis and sunken eyes seem to have been corrected well. Because of the difference in the amount of grafted fat and bleeding in one eyelid, both eyes are noticeably asymmetric right now, but they said once the swelling goes down, they will correct the asymmetry with a second fat grafting session. Overall, I think it was a good choice.
