Before<before>After<after>After my first double-eyelid surgery went wrong, I kept hearing that my eyes looked uneven, that I looked cross-eyed, and that my impression looked harsh. After a lot of thought, I looked into revision eye surgery and it has now been 10 months since I had surgery at ㅇㅇㅂ. I thought that after about 10 months, I would know properly whether I was satisfied or not, so I’m going to write a short review. First of all, because my first double-eyelid surgery failed, I think I looked much more carefully before choosing this hospital than I did when I chose the first one. The director also did not push excessive procedures, and planned the surgery in the direction I wanted, which I liked. If there was anything I didn’t understand, they explained it once more, and that made me trust them enough to entrust my eyes to them.
Since I had already had double-eyelid surgery, the revision had to be done through an incisional approach, so there was swelling in the beginning, but since I already knew that would be the case... I didn’t rush this part, and I think I worked hard on reducing the swelling by walking a lot and using cold compresses.
I think the major swelling was mostly gone after about 1 month, and from around month 3, I felt like the swelling had completely gone down! At that point, I really liked the line, so I thought it would be fine if the swelling stopped going down anymore lol The canthoplasty was also done extremely cleanly, and honestly, around one week in, I had no bruising or anything, so I was surprised. I’ve seen many cases where canthoplasty goes really wrong and creates a D-shaped corner or swelling, but mine was clean without any of that, so I think people around me asked a lot about the canthoplasty.
Now I have no discomfort in daily life, and the line is exactly the glamorous-looking eyes I wanted, so I’m very satisfied! People around me also tell me a lot that after doing my eyes, my impression became softer and that my features look clearer, so I’m satisfied because I feel like the revision surgery turned out exactly the way I wanted before surgery!
