I developed inflammation on the left columella and inside the nostril. Unlike the right side, it got very hard and red, so I went to the hospital today. The doctor said it looked okay to him, but it’s redder than it was during the day and the pain is worse.. If it had hurt from the beginning after surgery, I would think it was just part of the recovery process, but something that didn’t hurt in week 1 is gradually starting to hurt, so I feel so depressed and can’t focus on anything. This is a revision surgery, and for the nasal tip I used autologous costal cartilage, so I thought there would be no side effects, but I feel so hopeless
For now, I got an antibiotic injection at the hospital today and was also prescribed 5 days’ worth of medication, but I’m depressed.. If it gets better, I’ll write another post
