Hello, I had double-jaw surgery and two types of facial contouring (square jaw + chin) on January 15, and I’m already at the 6-month mark! Really,, when I read reviews, there were many people similar to me..
Since middle school, I had constantly been told that orthodontics could not solve it,, Honestly, when I was young I didn’t think much of it, but after entering high school and then becoming an adult, my desire for surgery grew even more. Since I’ve always liked dressing up and taking care of my appearance, I always felt something was lacking in my lower face!
Until my early to mid-20s, the reason for surgery was largely cosmetic, but at some point I began feeling my temporomandibular joint gradually becoming misaligned. My jaw hurt so much I couldn’t sleep, and when I opened my mouth wide, it started making clicking sounds. Gradually I saw myself feeling functional discomfort too
Now at 6 months, I can eat foods that require opening my mouth wide, like hamburgers, and there is no inconvenience at all in daily life In the beginning, I absolutely could not have imagined this
I’ve also gotten very used to wearing braces. The sounds from my jaw before surgery are definitely gone, and I’m happy that wherever I go, people tell me my face is very small..
I’m living with gratitude to the director who addressed both treatment and aesthetics..! The dull sensation has all come back too, and there is no foreign-body feeling at all. I thought it was such a difficult and scary surgery that I agonized over it for almost 10 years before doing it, but if I had known I would be this satisfied, I almost wish I had done it a little earlier. Of course it is a difficult surgery, but I feel I did well to do it
And naturally, I gained so much confidence in wearing makeup and dressing up too! I never imagined my side profile would become this pretty, and what’s interesting is that when I look at photos I edited before surgery, wow,, even with editing, the lower face looked awkward
