Ever since I had revision surgery with ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery, my eyes have been extremely itchy It gets worse if I rub them, and more specifically it’s around the mucous membrane and the eyeball…? (I didn’t have any type of canthoplasty!) Today they were also so itchy that I rubbed them hard the whole time I was sleeping, and now one eye is bloodshot… (I’m worried the ptosis correction and incision might come undone later…)
My parents say it’s allergies, but I wasn’t like this before Has anyone heard of itchiness as a side effect of double eyelid surgery? Could it just be simple allergies? But the timing of the symptoms feels too much like it was after the double eyelid surgery… It’s been about 9-10 months since the revision, and the non-incisional suture method I had for my first surgery didn’t itch!
