Before/after In the past, I wanted a high and glamorous nose, so I had rhinoplasty with silicone inserted, but as time passed, I didn’t like it anymore.. So I kept lamenting that I had gotten a nose that was only unnecessarily high and that something natural-looking on my face seemed better, and then I replaced it with a custom silicone implant and even had deviated septum surgery!
I didn’t want a nose that looked like a stamped-out straight line, but something that fit perfectly with my own nasal line, and Director Lee Sung-hoon at GNG understood exactly what I meant and pointed out just how it would be best to do it. During the consultation, when I had the virtual simulation, I thought, “This is it,” and it really settled in beautifully, as if it had been tailored exactly to my nasal line. For the nasal tip, autologous costal cartilage was used, and honestly, the area where the costal cartilage was harvested was tough, but as I recovered while diligently receiving aftercare, that gradually got better too, and now it doesn’t bother me at all!
I’m also glad I had the deviated septum surgery at the same time, because breathing became easier and my quality of life went up lol Maybe because autologous costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip, I also like that the tip is sharply lifted without drooping. The scar at the costal cartilage harvest site has also faded a lot, so if you glance at it, you can barely see any surgical mark. I chose this hospital carefully, thinking there really would be no third surgery, and since I found a skilled place, I feel certain I won’t have to worry about another revision
