Mentor Smooth Week 3

Mentor Smooth, 275 on both sides. Transaxillary incision. I also had accessory breast tissue removed. I’m posting my second review. For two weeks, I was in pain. It wasn’t that my breasts hurt, but the itching from the adhesive under-breast fold taping and the discomfort from the Bob compression garment making it feel like I couldn’t breathe… Since it was transaxillary, it was definitely harder, and you really need to rest for a full week. After two weeks, I feel like I can live a bit now, and I still have to wear the Bob for 3 months. They said to wear the upper band at least at night when sleeping. They said it’s okay to go out briefly wearing a sports bra sometimes. I bruised a lot, and I’m still blue in places here and there. They said it’ll get better with time. I bought bruise ointment and am applying it, but I’m not sure if it works. I started applying scar ointment to the armpit scars, but my armpits naturally have a lot of wrinkles and are quite dark, so I’m not paying too much attention to it. There were three aftercare sessions, and even though it’s a large hospital, after surgery it feels like they don’t really care much. I don’t really like it. It’s also very different from the information on their website. The feel is still like a bouncy ball. It doesn’t interfere much with daily life now. I still can’t raise or stretch my arms well. I didn’t have much desire for size and wanted it to look natural, so the feel is very important to me, and I plan to watch it longer. I’ll upload photos soon too.
