The eyes I had done with the buried-suture method about 10 years ago had lines that gradually got lower and became inline, so while I was worrying about it, I decided to get buried-suture revision, and while I was at it, I also got epicanthoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning
As you can tell from my posts, I went to and received a lot of consultations, and since under-eye fat repositioning is the most difficult surgery, I wanted to choose a hospital that was good at it. I decided on this place because the eye results were good and, among them, communication with the consultant and director was the best. I think it took less than 2 weeks from deciding to surgery
On the day of surgery, I had all three surgeries at once, so I think it took about two hours. There was CCTV, and in a clean operating room, I closed and opened my eyes and the surgery seemed to be over
The epicanthoplasty and buried-suture revision were okay, but adding under-eye fat repositioning made me really swollen. There were no side effects or unusual issues. I walked a lot and drank lots of water, anti-swelling tea, and pumpkin juice, so I think it went down faster
With under-eye fat repositioning, you need to avoid things that can raise intraocular pressure as much as possible (if you strain your face while brushing your tongue, bloody tears..). Also, because discharge clumps and sticks, your eyelids won’t open, so for the first day or two you definitely need to ask someone for help
At around 40 days, a lot of the swelling had gone down. There’s still minor residual swelling, but I think the line came out well, and the satisfaction with under-eye fat repositioning is really high. I went for a follow-up and the director was satisfied too. They said they could do a little more epicanthoplasty and would do it after checking progress at 6 months, and the aftercare was kind, so I liked it. I hope the remaining swelling goes down and my eyes get even prettier. Everyone, fighting!
