[Before surgery] After wearing orthokeratology lenses for about 10 years, I decided on SMILE LASIK. After stopping lenses for about 1 month, the exam showed my corneal thickness was sufficiently thick, so I felt reassured and decided on surgery! The consultant said my corneal thickness was enough to allow it to be ablated twice, but just in case, I included corneal strengthening too, so it was about 2.5 million won (I remember it was in the low 2 million range if excluded)
[After surgery] For about 1 month after surgery, night driving was difficult because of glare/halos. Right after surgery, the dryness was severe, but now, 4 months after surgery, I’m doing well without discomfort from glare/halos or dryness
