Before-after-after. I’m 11 months into my first nose surgery and almost at the 1-year mark! I don’t even remember the 20-something years I lived with my pre-surgery nose anymore!! lol
Before the surgery, when talking with people I met through work and social life, I realized quite a few had gotten nose surgery?!! But when I looked, so many of them had revision surgery.. So I realized it isn’t easy to succeed with your first nose surgery in one go, bam!! Looking back now, I think I succeeded because I checked a lot of things!
First, I’ll tell you what I checked!!
1. Whether the consultant was kind 2. Whether they pressured me to pay a deposit on the same day 3. The aftercare/AS period / whether they would take responsibility if any problem occurred 4. The doctor’s aesthetic sense (I searched through all the reviews) 5. The doctor’s experience 6. Whether I could meet the doctor often after surgery 7. Whether CCTV footage during surgery could be viewed
Writing it out like this, it’s a lot.. Honestly, after I went around to consultations, the prices were all pretty similar, and even if there was a difference it was under 1 million won, so I didn’t pay much attention to the price and left it out! It’s not that I’m financially comfortable, but I don’t think this is something to save money on, anyway lol
To talk about my 11-month nose surgery review, I got a boyfriend right after nose surgery (we were even flirting while I still had the splint on lol). When my close friend says she’s lonely, I tell her to go get a nose consultation first Like, don’t you know I started flirting after my nose job?
The consultant and the operating room nurses were all so kind, and since it was my first surgery I was nervous, but they explained everything comfortably, so I remember it feeling really warm Even on the day of surgery, the doctor carefully looked through all the screenshots I brought of the kind of line I wanted, designed it, and confirmed it with me, so I felt totally reassured.
Of course I had a mentally difficult period too, and in the beginning it was uncomfortable to breathe, but it was swelling hehe.. As time passed, breathing became comfortable and everything got better!!
Anyway, everyone looking into nose surgery, make sure!!! to check the things I mentioned above!!!!!! It will definitely reduce your chance of failure!!!
