I booked incisional revision double eyelid surgery with Director ㅇㅎㅂ at ㅇㅇㅌ and paid the deposit, but something feels off, so I’m conflicted.
The consultations with both the consultant manager and the doctor were good, but the consultant said that a certain YouTuber also had it done there, and my trust suddenly went up, so I even paid the deposit. But on my way out, an older lady and a front desk staff member were arguing at the counter. The manager who consulted with me was seeing me off and kept asking whether I had eaten lunch and what I ate, as if trying to stop me from looking over there, so I wondered what was going on.
Still, I didn’t want to keep worrying about double eyelid surgery anymore, and since the date was scheduled soon, I went back down to my region thinking I should just do it. But then I started doubting whether that YouTuber really had it done there.
I asked that YouTuber directly by DM, but there was no reply. In other communities or YouTube comments, a different doctor’s name comes up, so I started suspecting that the manager may have lied, and I felt anxious. I also asked the mentioned clinic through Naver chat, but they said they couldn’t tell me because it was personal information.
So I compared the Gangnam Unni review photos of the doctor I booked with the other mentioned doctor, and the review photos for the doctor I booked were worse than I expected.
Ha Is it okay to go through with this? Can the deposit be refunded too..
