I guess these are concerns that fit my age, but especially for me, I think I cared a lot about things like self-care? I would wake up early in the morning just to put on makeup. When you look on Instagram and places like that, there are so many pretty women, you know. I wanted to become like them. Then I followed a friend and got eye surgery, but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted, so I started looking into revision surgery, and I think I naturally ended up getting consultations for the other areas I was concerned about too. That’s how I decided to have surgery. Honestly, this kind of thing is something you should do when you’re not scared, right? I thought it was better to do it when I was even one year younger. Looking at my before photos, a lot of people said, “Is there really any need to do it?” But if you looked closely, I truly didn’t like anything, from the eyes I’d had done before to my cheekbones, nose, cheek fat, and jawline. I was tired of putting on makeup every time, and people around me said I looked fine as I was and looked cute, but I didn’t feel that way. Still, now that a lot of the swelling has gone down, I’m hearing a lot from people around me that I’ve become much prettier. I also hear people ask if I lost weight, and more than anything, I think my nose line, eye line, and jawline turned out fairly natural, so I’m satisfied. Maybe because my cheek fat and cheekbones look much reduced too, people seem to say I’ve lost weight. After surgery, I stayed home almost all the time because of my swollen face, but now I’m going around a lot. Maybe I’ve gotten used to this lifestyle too. Anyway… now that the swelling has gone down a lot and my face has become slimmer, it feels so good, you know?
