It has been exactly 10 weeks now, and I’m very satisfied. At week 5, it was my best friend’s birthday, so I couldn’t not go. I forced myself to put on full makeup and went, and no one noticed, but making facial expressions was hard because my philtrum felt tight, so I remember having a rough time lol..
I sweat a lot on my face, especially around the philtrum, so I got the surgery with the mindset that I just wouldn’t go out in the summer lol. After doing it, I think even if you get surgery in summer, it won’t be too hard as long as you have a stay-at-home mindset for a while like me.
My parents also felt bad whenever they saw my philtrum... Still, they helped with the surgery cost too,, lol They said they really hoped it would turn out well, and it turned out even better than expected, so I’m so relieved.
