I had it done at Jenith Hospital in Ansan during winter break before starting my second year of high school, in January or February of the year I turned 18. When consulting with the consultant there, it felt like they only recommended the surgeries I really needed. At first, I said I wanted epicanthoplasty too, and later I said I was also considering rhinoplasty, but they told me that if I was going to get rhinoplasty, I shouldn’t do epicanthoplasty now because the eyes would lift anyway after rhinoplasty. Since I don’t have much fat around my eyes, I did not have fat removal. They also made the line look natural. They said a line that was too thick probably would not suit me. They did not give me sedation anesthesia. They said I would need to open my eyes later so they could adjust the line. I went into the operating room and got local anesthesia, and it hurt so much that I cried. While doing the surgery, the director tried to help me relax and said that because my eyelashes were long, it was convenient for surgery and it would turn out pretty. After the surgery was all finished, it turned out much prettier than I expected. A week later, I went to have the stitches removed. After they were removed and time gradually passed, when I was finally able to touch my eyelids, there were about 1 or 2 stitches left in my eye. So for one of them, I kept touching it with my hand, and it stung as it came off. The other one is still left in my eye. Now, several years later, my left eye opens slightly less. I think it’s because I usually don’t put much strength into opening my eyes. The hospital also said I need to put strength into my eyes so the line won’t loosen easily. So when I open my eyes without putting strength into them, my eyes are not symmetrical. When I put strength into them to take a selfie, they look the same.

I went to get under-eye filler, and like any dermatology clinic would probably say, they told me I also needed filler in the upper cheek area, or something along those lines, so I got it. It was a total disaster •• I looked like Bread Man,
