Before<before my nose surgery>After<after my nose surgery!>After<after nose surgery>After<after nose surgery>Hello everyone, it’s been over a month now since I got my nose surgery, and I thought I’d leave a review because later I’ll probably be curious about what I looked like at the one-month mark haha I took photos from several angles to post this, and it’s fascinating that my hump is gone and my nose bridge is higher, so I keep taking pictures from different angles.. Honestly, if I include from when I first started thinking about getting rhinoplasty, I researched it for almost years, but I started seriously going around for in-person consultations early this year, you know?
To be honest, there were hospitals I thought were really the worst, and there were hospitals I liked a little, but I thought it was obvious I’d regret getting nose surgery with such a half-hearted feeling.. so I kept going around for consultations, hoping to find a place I liked at least over 90% haha
Even just in Gangnam, there are so many plastic surgery clinics. I narrowed down places famous for nose surgery and had a consultation at ㅁㅂ, and here the director personally explained all the materials, and when I got greedy and said I wanted to make it higher~ I liked that he spoke honestly from multiple angles. I kept thinking about it even after I went, but.. this place appealed to me the most, so I ended up having surgery there. My original nose had a very bulbous tip and a slight hump, so I had that corrected and had silicone placed high.
I told the director that because my nose had a strong bulbous-nose feel, I wanted it not to look thick at all even with silicone, but slim!! And that I wanted the nose design to be a straight-with-slight-curve profile. During the consultation, the director changed the design as I described it, and it was so~ fascinating haha. It also made me think this is why people go to experienced directors..
I liked the consultation and booked the surgery, so I was full of expectations, but after surgery, while I had the splint on, I couldn’t see it, so it felt a bit frustrating Until day 3, there was quite a lot of swelling too.. But once the splint came off, just like the reviews I had seen, the major swelling went down steadily.
That made me feel like the surgery came out well in the straight-with-slight-curve style I wanted haha. I really felt that you shouldn’t judge too early with any surgery. I saw many people who got severe bruising after nose surgery, but I didn’t have any bruising at all haha. The swelling also went down faster than I expected, so I thought I chose the hospital well.
Honestly, there wasn’t much that could be called aftercare.. I was too lazy, so I didn’t even really go for walks haha. The only time I went out was just to the convenience store in front of my house? That was it, you know? I remembered the director telling me during the post-op follow-up to ice it well, so I did that consistently, and I felt that just this alone was pretty good because the swelling went down quickly.
Before surgery, because of the hump and the blunt nose tip, I always thought my facial features didn’t harmonize well, but now that my nose is prettier, I naturally start paying attention to other areas too haha.. Human greed.... Since it’s only been one month, I’m being a bit cautious, but at this point, my swelling is going down fast, right?? It’s hot now, so I can’t go for walks and I’ll just be stuck at home, so further aftercare is impossible.... I’ll be careful and watch it settle well from now on haha
