It has been almost 2 years since I had double eyelid surgery. (It cost about 2 million KRW at a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong)
At that time, not long after the surgery, I knew that something like a stitch was protruding from my eye, but as an office worker, I did not have enough time, and it did not interfere with my daily life, so I did not go to the hospital.
However, starting a while ago, there was inflammation next to the stitch mark, so I went to the hospital, and they said that they would have to remove the thread again, check the progress after one month, and then do revision surgery, and that it would cost 300,000 KRW.
They told me that free revision surgery was possible for one year, but after that, it was not possible.
My eye is currently very swollen, but since the surgery is scheduled for next week, I went to another hospital separately and got medication prescribed, which I am taking.
I think this is the hospital’s fault, and I’m curious to hear opinions on whether it is right for me to bear the cost, even if it is a small amount.
