There was a time when I stayed up all night for months just looking through this community, worrying and stressing about surgery, but now all the major swelling has gone down, and I no longer have any reason to come here. I guess that means I have no side effects and I’m satisfied!
Honestly, my square jaw was severe and had been a lifelong complex, to the point where I even thought I wouldn’t care if I died during surgery lol So I kept it a secret from my parents and siblings, did a lot of research, liked the one place I went to for a consultation, booked it impulsively, and a few weeks later went straight through with the surgery.
Thinking about it now, I just went ahead and had surgery without a guardian, was discharged the same day by myself, walked back to the accommodation I had booked nearby, and spent a week surviving on New Care only. That whole period is just insanely funny and feels like a sitcom lololololololol
What’s even funnier is that my parents still don’t know, even now, a year later.. I live on my own, so I first saw my parents after the major swelling had gone down, and they only said, “Why has your face gotten so slim~” They have no idea I had surgery^^ If they find out, I’m seriously in big trouble;
