Since I’m doing it anyway, I’m currently planning consultations at 5 places + 2 more this week so I can get under-eye fat repositioning at a place that is really good and right for me. Based on the consultations, my condition is: 1. My under-eye area is not bulging. There isn’t enough fat to fill the tear troughs (but one place that avoids fat grafting says there is enough). Even when I look at it, it’s not bulging like the review photos; it’s actually closer to flat! 2. My tear troughs are deep. 3. The skin under my eyes is thin, so red blood vessels show through. > Except for one place, they recommended under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting.
What I’m already worried about is that I heard people with enough fat bulging under the eyes have a higher chance of success
After studying here and there and getting consultations, I found that each hospital has a different fat grafting method. To roughly summarize: 1. Grafting microfat to the anterior cheekbones 2. Grafting microfat from the under-eye area to the troughs and Indian bands 3. Grafting nanofat to the under-eye area and troughs; grafting microfat to the anterior cheekbones 4. Grafting single-cell fat to the under-eye area; grafting microfat to the troughs and anterior cheekbones
Some places also additionally use the PRP method with the above methods.
So what I’m debating now is: 1. Whether to do fat grafting directly under the eyes 2. Whether to do fat grafting only to the troughs (+ anterior cheekbones) 3. Whether nanofat (single-cell fat) or microfat is right for the troughs.. But some places say microfat is right because the troughs need volume.. 4. Some places say nanofat has a lower survival rate than microfat, while others say it’s actually higher, so it’s really difficult.. I wonder what the right answer is
If you know anything, please share, please!!!
Also, I’m currently leaning toward ㅅㅅㅇ / ㅇㅂㅈ(ㅅㅈㅇ) / ㅅㅌㅌ, so if anyone has had under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting there, please share your reviews too. Whether it was a successful case or a case with side effects, I really want to use it as reference. Thank you for reading this long post!
