[Clinic A] Revision Surgery: 3-Month Review!!

About a year and a half ago, I had breast surgery with Dr. A at [Clinic A], and it went terribly wrong. The doctor disappeared two weeks after operating on me..;; I kept having follow-up appointments with Dr. Park Ji-hoon and eventually underwent revision surgery. Haha. In fact, from one or two weeks after surgery, the shape looked different, and my breasts were completely pushed together, almost like symmastia.. I have pectus excavatum, so I was worried about developing severe symmastia. It stressed me out so much whenever I looked in the mirror that I tried not to look even when showering! Originally, the doctor told me that it was too soon to perform revision surgery under general anesthesia and that we should wait a little longer. They also carefully selected a bra that would prevent my breasts from coming together as much as possible! They checked me every time I went in for scar treatment too, so time passed with me thinking, “Let’s wait just a little longer!” When I went in for my one-year follow-up, they said right away that I needed to make a decision that day and brought up the revision themselves, even though I had not mentioned it first. T_T Since I have a sunken chest, the pectoral muscle or breast pocket in front should have been preserved and the outer side dissected, but the person who operated on me had done the exact opposite, lol. So for the revision, we decided either to reduce the size slightly, which would be preferable, or, if I did not want to reduce it, to open the outer pocket and stitch the inner side closed!! They did it without charging me a single penny.. The only cost that day was transportation! It has already been three months since the revision!! At my three-month follow-up, I was finally freed from the chest band and compression bra and am wearing regular bras!! Since I had surgery for symmastia and must not let my breasts come together, I wear triangle bras from various brands, haha. I had no pain or complications, and my recovery was good, so every visit ended with nothing but compliments! They listened to everything so sweetly and adjusted my underwear piece by piece to fit my body type, so I am incredibly grateful! I was not originally Dr. Park Ji-hoon's patient either, but from the first time he checked my botched breasts until now, he has taken such meticulous care of me. I can only be thankful.. Oh, and when I was leaving after my three-month follow-up, someone called out to me. When I looked, it was the clinic manager!! She greeted me warmly and held my hand tightly, which made me so happy! Not only the doctor and clinic manager, but also everyone at the front desk is incredibly kind! I feel it every time I go, haha. Anyway!! Thank you so, so much for making my breasts beautiful again T_T I could not wear bandeau tops, camisoles, or anything like that this summer because of the chest band and compression bra, but from next year I will try going out with a little less coverage!!! Hahahahaha
