Honestly, there wasn’t a single thing I liked about my nose.. the shape, height, length, everything.. Because my nose was long, it made my face look long too, so if I were to get surgery, I definitely wanted to go somewhere that could properly set the nasolabial angle and correct it. I had heard that just getting the angle right can make the nose look shorter. At every consultation I went to, I emphasized the nose length so much.. It had been such a huge source of stress since I was a student, so I knew better than anyone that it could only be improved through surgery. So when I looked at rhinoplasty reviews, I focused on that and picked them carefully. I narrowed it down to well-known places, looked at the doctors, and decided which clinics to go to for consultations.. Some people go to a ton of consultations, but I just went to four, which felt reasonable, and decided on this place!!
I used silicone, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and autologous costal cartilage, and also had nasolabial angle correction, hump osteotomy, and nostril reduction. The doctor gave me such a stable, reassuring consultation, understood better than anyone the parts I considered complexes, and explained in detail how those areas would be improved and how much improvement I could expect, so I really gained trust and asked them to please operate exactly as they had explained!! I was so nervous on the day of surgery too, but thinking about it now, the period after surgery was much harder than the day of surgery.. People who get rhinoplasty are seriously amazing. I think because you go through such a hard time to get the surgery, the results have to be satisfying for you to forget all of it. I really love my nose now!! It still doesn’t feel real, but I’m living with the thought that this was the best thing I did this year. If you’re worried because you have a hump nose and a long nose, I really recommend going for a consultation at the place where I had my surgery!!
