I absolutely said No to anything flashy!! Not only does a flashy nose not suit my face, but I also felt resistant to silicone, so I only had the hump refined and the nasal tip done with ear cartilage!! + Since my glabella was low, the director’s surgical method used cartilage powder? They suggested connecting only the glabella to the nasal bridge with that to create a straight-to-slightly-curved / straight-line feel!
First of all, the functional part was really, really hard... I swelled especially a lot, so when other people had their splints removed and were breathing, I still had the roll packing in.. From what the consultant said, roll packing is apparently a measure used for people who are really severely swollen..
I wondered if blood had filled up, so the director gave injections into my nostrils and stuff, and tears came out on their own But even then, they were kind and apologized for hurting me..! (Even now, breathing still isn’t comfortable yet I’m waiting until the inside heals..)
From the front, I looked like I had a huge nose + an Avatar nose, but at least from the side, the hump seems gone and the shape looks smoother I had a lot of worries, but I decided to wait. I walked a lot, did warm compresses often, and drank pumpkin juice and pumpkin tea!
And because I was meeting friends while wearing a mask, I also went outside often! The swelling decreased a lot from around day 12?!
It started looking natural from week 2, and now that more than 1 month has passed, it’s really natural! During consultation with the director, we agreed on a natural level like when someone sees me after a long time, they would think, “Oh, she looks a bit prettier, what changed??” lololol
My older friend who saw me after 3 months actually didn’t notice, so when I asked if anything looked different, she asked if I wasn’t wearing makeup.. (I really wasn’t) When I said I got my nose done, she praised me a lot, saying it was really natural and that I did well to get it done hahaha
One of my mom’s friends said my nasal tip looks round, so I look younger, and I think I did well getting it done! They say hooked nose correction has very high satisfaction among nose surgeries, and after doing it, I understand why!! Now when I travel and take photos, I also end up keeping lots of side-view photos!! I just hope it doesn’t go down too much from its current state now.. hahaha
As for the functional part, it’s only been a little over 1 month, so the inside is still a bit swollen and not comfortable for me yet I’m waiting for it to get much better!!
Still, I’m satisfied because the hump is gone and it’s the natural line I wanted!!
