Breast Surgery Reviews

Day 8 review of Sebbin Sub

Stats: 159/43, rib cage 67, breast base 12.5, original breast volume full A, slightly pigeon chest I had surgery through the transaxillary approach with dual-plane placement, and only had accessory breast tissue removal on the right side as well. I wanted a full C, so I got Sebbin Sub 310 on both sides.

Day of surgery I was really nervous and scared until the surgery, but when I woke up, it was over. After I woke up from anesthesia, it hurt much less than I expected, so I thought I was okay. My throat was so dry that I just rinsed my mouth with water and spat it back out. And because it hurt so much less than expected, I wanted to go home. I went home less than an hour after waking up from anesthesia. After the anesthesia fully wore off, it wasn’t completely painless, but if pain is 1 to 10, it was about a 3? Also, my left side hurt, so the right side didn’t hurt at all! I had pork cutlet for dinner, and sleeping was seriously so uncomfortable. It hurt a bit when I slept, so I took painkillers. I thought I would stay up all night with my eyes open, but I still think I slept 4-5 hours.

On day 2, I had the bandage removed, received care, had a follow-up check, got disinfected, and put on the V-bra. Other than the discomfort, it really didn’t hurt at all, so I felt like the bandage had been making it hurt more! Of course, lying down and getting up hurt a little, but it was tolerable. They told me to do arm-raising stretches, so I did them diligently.

After that, I really didn’t hurt at all, so I walked around outside a lot. From day 3, I washed and dried my own hair. (Used only half my arms) At first, when doing the arm-raising stretches, my armpit hurt so much it felt like it was tearing. (The side where I had accessory breast tissue removed hurt especially) As I kept doing it, it got better, and now my arm goes up to beside my ear.

Until day 5, if I touched it lightly, the tissue felt very swollen and tight, like it had a vibrating sensation? It was really firm. From then on, I used my core and momentum to lie down and get up. From day 7, maybe because the tissue was starting to soften, I felt tingling, and it became soft enough that it would press in a bit when pushed.

For the past week, I barely had much discomfort, to the point where I wondered if I’d really had surgery. I ate lots of good food, walked around a lot, and slept really well. I’m so happy. Today is day 8, and I hope the upper pole fullness comes down soon and time passes quickly!

My criteria for choosing a hospital were: a private clinic, breast-specialized, anesthesiologist on site, whether there was CCTV (available for viewing), whether AS was available, and a maximum of 3 surgeries per day.

For online research, I looked into 4 private clinics, and for in-person consultations, I went to two places. They were ㅁㅂㅇ, ㄱㄹ (not an animal), ㅇㄴ, and ㅁㄹ. I really liked the shape at ㅁㅂㅇ, so I suddenly put down a deposit. When I went to consult at ㄱㄹ, the breast shape the hospital showed me and the consultation with the director somehow gave me more trust, so I wondered if I shouldn’t have put down the deposit. But because of my pigeon chest, they recommended the inframammary fold incision, so I just did it at ㅁㅂㅇ. But later, if I ever happen to need revision surgery, I think I might go to ㄱㄹ. I really liked the director at ㄱㄹ, so I kept thinking about them. I excluded ㅁㄹ because the review shapes weren’t really my style. I also liked everything about ㅇㄴ and wanted to go, but they seemed to have CCTV but not allow viewing, so I excluded them. But in the end, I trusted the director and didn’t view the CCTV. The surgery seems to have gone so well too, and if it was going to be like this anyway, I wonder if I should’ve gone to ㅇㄴ too.

It’s a major surgery, and I felt like I did too few in-person consultations, so I worried a lot until surgery, but the result is really good. The hospital also said it seems like I don’t need to come in at week 2 and told me to come back in a month I received extra scar tape and an upper band, got aftercare, and I’m going home.
