Before before before after after after Hello It has been 3 months since I had double jaw surgery for malocclusion. Since I’m a dental student, I mainly chose a hospital focused on oral and maxillofacial surgery, and after consultations at several hospitals and some deliberation, in January, I ended up having double jaw surgery and two types of facial contouring together at a place called Y Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery hehe Before surgery, until I lost weight, I didn’t realize I had a protruding lower jaw, but as time passed, I went through college life, lost weight, and started taking care of my appearance, I came to realize I had a protruding lower jaw,, (Is there anyone like me,,? haha) Anyway, now that 3 months have passed, I can drink alcohol and go back to the gym, so I really feel that I’ve recovered a lot. hehe Until the 2-month mark, my jaw hurt a little if I chewed too much or talked too much, but now there is almost no pain anymore!. I think the major swelling has all gone down now, and only minor swelling remains. People around me also say my face has become completely slimmer!! lol Now, of course I can chew, and I can also chew things that are a bit tough or hard, so I think I eat the same as before surgery. It still feels a little awkward to chew though hehe.. While doing postoperative orthodontic treatment now, I’m wearing a palatal appliance that narrows the maxillary arch, so that may be why, but my pronunciation still feels awkward.. This is something I need to practice, so I think I should practice pronunciation a lot when I’m alone. I’m living completely satisfied with my changed appearance after surgery. It’ll get even better once the minor swelling goes down, right? hehe…
