Before-before-after-after My family has had lower-body obesity for generations, so I always wore wide skirts or pants and couldn’t wear anything fitted..
Even after losing -10 kg, my lower body.. had a limit to how much it would slim down.. and I’m soon heading into my 30s.. Before turning 30, I wanted to try wearing short skirts and skinny pants, so after searching hard online and going around in person, I got unlimited LAMS on my thighs.
At first I was really so worried, but now I’m so satisfied that I wonder, why was I worried..? Why did I only do it now? And now I really want to do my belly fat too lol haha It’s definitely less burdensome than liposuction, and since you can return to daily life right away the next day, I got LAMS after work on Friday and rested well over the weekend, so none of my coworkers knew, and I’m so satisfied hehe..
<Level of pain during the procedure> I think I lay on the procedure table and had the procedure for about 3 and a half hours, and I did it while chatting with the doctor. It wasn’t general anesthesia but local anesthesia, so I was awake, but I fell asleep in the middle.
When they first anesthetize you, the anesthetic injections hurt, but throughout the actual procedure I truly had zero sensation, so I didn’t feel pain. I think it hurts when the medication goes in, when they anesthetize you (I’m a huge scaredy-cat, but it was tolerable).
<Discomfort after the procedure> More bruising came up the day after than on the day of the procedure, and from a week later, the discomfort was about not being able to plop! down when using the bathroom, but having to slowly~ sit down. Daily life was possible, and for about 2-3 days I wore leggings because my flesh felt shaky and I was afraid it might sag, but it was just to the extent that I had to put the leggings on gently. I went to work right away 3 days later, wore heels, and commuted fine, but I couldn’t run (if I run, since fat was extracted and empty spaces were created, I can feel those spaces making the flesh shake, so I don’t want to run because I’m afraid the skin will sag).
<How to choose a good clinic> 1. A place with an experienced doctor 2. Rapport with the doctor? (Because it was local anesthesia, I kept talking with the doctor during the procedure, and the doctor who performed it was so sweet that I was so grateful throughout the procedure) 3. A place with a well-equipped aftercare program 4. Online research and in-person visits are essential
