I originally had no intention of writing a review when I got surgery, but the before-and-after difference is pretty clearly visible, and there are parts I’m more satisfied with than expected as well as parts I’m disappointed about, so I’m going to write about it.
Before surgery 70A -> after surgery 70D I got Mentor Smooth implants, 375cc on the left and 350cc on the right, through an inframammary fold incision.
The reason I wrote all the information in advance is because I thought writing the things everyone here might be curious about at the beginning would help with reading the post..? When I was looking at lots of reviews before surgery, there were many times I felt frustrated because I didn’t know the information. I also did a lot of online research and went to consultations in person, so I think these are things I can write about.
I lived with small breasts for almost 20 years, and when I went for consultations this time, I realized that even if breasts are small, they can still be asymmetrical.. lol That was exactly me. So when I was told during the consultation here that I should use different sizes on each side, it felt both interesting and flustering. Other places just recommended the same size..
What I still remember is that when I hesitated a little, the doctor explained that right now, because they’re small, I might not feel the difference between the two sides, but after surgery, as the breast size becomes larger, the asymmetry would look more emphasized. The doctor stressed that matching the inframammary fold symmetry is important, but matching the size is also important, and thanks to that, I was able to get surgery with different sizes on each side.
Thinking about it now, I think that was a really good decision.. lol After breast surgery, all I did every day was check things like, has the upper fullness gone down? Are they settling well? Are they the same size? Is the shape natural? If the sizes hadn’t matched from the start, I would have been really stressed about that..
And at other hospitals, many consultations were like, since you’re doing it anyway, go bigger~ But here, even when they matched me with a larger size, I could feel that they also considered safety and explained it accordingly. It’s not like I’m going to take the implants out after 1-2 years. They looked carefully so that even as I get older, they would look natural and not feel foreign.
I didn’t get admitted or anything, and I was discharged the same day. At first, there was still a little anesthesia effect left, so I felt a bit dizzy? That was about it, and I wasn’t in pain or unable to move because of the surgery. Also, getting surgery through the inframammary fold was the perfect choice because moving my arms really felt completely fine lol I even went to work right after surgery, worked 9 to 6, and came home without any pain.
After breast surgery, my satisfaction is increasing every day. First of all, the fit of clothes has completely changed, and another thing I’m quietly proud of is that I had surgery at a more reasonable cost than I expected.. lol Honestly, there are so many places these days that are absurdly expensive. I hope everyone also visits several places in person and carefully thinks about which hospital suits them.
