Lately I’ve been really into ㄷㄷㅇ (ㅣㅔㅣ) rhinoplasty reviews, so I read almost every review that came up and went for a consultation. I’ve gone around to three places for nose consultations, and for now ㄷㄷㅇ (ㅣㅔㅣ) is the place I’m most drawn to. Before that, I went to ㅇㅂㅅ and ㅎㅌ. My personality is a bit laid-back, but I also don’t have much time, so I started going around last year. Last year ㅇㅂㅅ was really popular in this community. These days I don’t seem to see it as much, but anyway, I went for a consultation last year, and the price was a little more over than I had expected. The consultation itself was really good, but there were more people than I expected and it felt kind of hectic? The clinic itself felt big and clean. I remember dozing off while waiting lol, so it was that comfortable. I don’t remember the consultation exactly, but it was about 10 minutes, and since it was my first consultation I think I was kind of all over the place. The second place was ㅎㅌ, and I also went last year. The consultation was really, really good, but the cost was too expensive It was well over 4 million won… As soon as I heard the price, I gave up right away lol. How much budget did everyone set for their first nose surgery?? For me, the 4 million won range felt way too burdensome.
And then last week I went to D-Day Plastic Surgery. Because it was so expensive, I was wondering if I should give up on rhinoplasty, but after seeing rhinoplasty reviews I got tempted again. Especially the ㄷㄷㅇ surgery reviews all looked good to me, so I felt the director must be really good at surgery, and I ended up going for a consultation. There was no wait, and the consultation with the director alone was about 20 minutes? I think it was around that long. The consultation with the consultant was also extremely detailed, so I think it was almost an hour total. Since it was long, the consultation was really detailed. The surgery cost was also lower than I expected, so I’m even more conflicted. The one thing that bothers me is that while looking at the CT, they said my septal cartilage size is borderline, so they may use ear cartilage or donated costal cartilage, but it’s not something they decide in advance; they have to proceed depending on the situation, so I would have to go into surgery without confirming beforehand what material will be used… I asked, can it be confirmed before going in? They said it is possible, but rather than using a material that may not be necessary and increasing the cost burden and burden on the body, this way is better. It’s not wrong, but I’m a little anxious… lol
As I remember, ㅇㅂㅅ had a 10,000 won consultation fee and the others didn’t. All three places took CT scans. ㅎㅌ and ㅇㅂㅅ are near Gangnam Station, and ㄷㄷㅇ is near Sinsa Station. The costs were: ㅇㅂㅅ in the high 3 million won range, ㅎㅌ in the mid-4 million won range, and ㄷㄷㅇ (note: not The Door) from the high 2 million won range to mid-3 million won range depending on the material.
I’m wondering if I should just live like this, or do it while I feel tempted.
