Hehe, as the title says, my nose wasn’t low. People around me honestly told me all the time, like it was nothing, “Why would you do it?” and “You don’t need to” (because I went around telling people I was going to get my nose done lol). But since my mind was made up, I was looking into hospitals, and then I found out about one through an acquaintance of an acquaintance.
I tend to feel pain more severely than others and I’m extremely sensitive, so even I think of myself as a difficult patient.. I had nose surgery at Item, and when I was looking into it, the person who answered the phone, the consultation manager, and the people at the counter were all kind. Most of all, my attending director, Director Jung Woo-jin, I seriously, genuinely love him lol. He has a great personality and seemed to help me in the direction I wanted. At other hospitals, they seemed to think the surgeries I wanted were the right ones, so it was hard to set a standard, but here the director also explained that it was ideal to consider proportions like the nasal bridge and alar width, and he looked at my desired nose photos with me and talked through things like how this would probably work. I liked that style because it felt comfortable.
I liked a clean, striking, luxurious-looking straight nose, and for the tip, I liked it lifted just enough that it almost looked lifted but not too much, just like Go Youn-jung... I didn’t like noses that were too feminine, small, or short, so I emphasized that to the director too, and in the end I got the nose I wanted.
On the day the splint came off, the nurses said my nose turned out so well, and even acquaintances who hadn’t been in touch asked which hospital it was.. (It’s no secret that I didn’t want to tell them.) Several acquaintances booked at Item after seeing me. My mom’s friends also make such a fuss when they see me lol. I went without telling my mom, but my mom keeps praising me, saying it turned out well and looks pretty. I think it doesn’t photograph as well as it looks in real life, but in person it’s prettier, so I like it.
