Beforebeforebeforeafterafterafterafter. Mid-30s. Had surgery in mid-April last year.
Rhinitis nose, cosmetic rhinoplasty, and bulbous nose. Rhinitis - surgery for deviated septum and enlarged nasal tissue. Straight-to-semi-curved line. Most people don’t know I had my nose done... Some people notice because it looks high. 3 mm silicone A bit disappointing because it looks slightly like a straight line. I wonder if I should have gone for a more noticeable straight-to-semi-curved line. It looks natural on my face. Raising my nose improved my wide glabella area a lot.
For facial contouring, the right chin tip is a bit indented in shape. It could be a muscle issue. My nasolabial folds got worse. I developed Indian bands. (Cheekbone sagging) Deep cheek sagging (jawline sagging) Even at 160 cm and 52 kg, I developed a double chin (jawline sagging), so I have to keep dieting. Even though I don’t have much facial fat, once the bone disappeared, the fat had nowhere to go. Because of intraoral scar tissue, my pronunciation got worse... Whether I open my mouth or not, the tightness inside my mouth still feels severe, like someone is pulling my chin. For smokers, if you get facial contouring, I think it’s best not to smoke at all for several months.
My face was so square to begin with that the doctor said even before surgery that the result would be dramatic. They shaved it while leaving the mandibular angle below the ear. My head is naturally large, so after shaving the cheekbones and jaw, it does have the effect of making my face look smaller, but my wide face width and large head are still noticeable. After raising my nose, my face looks more three-dimensional, so it’s a bit less noticeable. I had surgery with a T-osteotomy. I’m not thinking about removing the pins.
Even after 1 year, no improvement X. It’s inconvenient because there are hardly any hospitals specializing in scar tissue. Aftercare costs have been enormous.
Facial contouring injections. InMode Forma (for elasticity and sagging improvement) Now I think I’ll have to try Ultherapy. I think I’ll need at least 600 shots to get back to how I was. Cheekbone and cheek sagging all happened... Even if you don’t have much facial fat, the moment you shave bone, sagging is 100% guaranteed.
If you’re someone like me with severe appearance-related stress, and you’re not confident you can handle aftercare costs and some degree of side effects, please don’t touch it.
Even if I could turn back time, I would still get the surgery again.. The way people treat me in life has changed. Wherever I go, people compliment me and say I’m pretty.
Other procedures: lip filler 2 cc (I’m 6 months out now, so a lot has gone down and it’s about this much, but it’s still much plumper than before) Forehead 7 cc (the doctor suggested adding 1 cc more toward the temples, but I said it was okay and stopped them)
Please see my other posts for the other downsides.
