Last summer, I had incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction (inner double eyelids) at ㅍㄹㅁㅇ. (The person who did it for me isn’t there anymore, so the hospital name doesn’t really matter.)
Why did I do incisional surgery from the first surgery? They said my eye-opening strength was so weak that it wouldn’t be meaningful unless it was incisional.
But as the swelling gradually went down, the back part of my eyes started drooping. This bothers me quite a lot, and I also don’t feel like my eyes open wide enough. (The incision line doesn’t extend to the back part of my eyes, so the back part is no different from before surgery.)
Before my first surgery, I opened my eyes purely with my forehead muscles, and now I can open them with just my eye strength. But if I don’t use my forehead muscles, I can’t open them in a clear and defined way.
So I know there can be a side effect where the eyes don’t close well... but I want revision surgery with the line a bit higher.
But since it’s incisional, not non-incisional, I don’t know if this is possible. Has anyone here done something like me?
