Before <before revision surgery (about 10 years after first surgery)> After <2–3 days after surgery> After <3 months after surgery> Should I write informally or politely?
I’m a guy, so I hope other guys can use this as a reference as much as possible This hospital didn’t offer any review discount, but I’m writing this review voluntarily Because, as everyone probably does, whether it’s a first surgery or revision surgery, you think really hard before doing it Looking at what I wrote, I guess I was going around to clinics about a year ago, getting consultations at several hospitals too While reading reviews, you might wonder whether this guy is being paid to write it So I hope this helps even a little in narrowing down your choices.. There’s no such thing as this hospital being the answer or the best option, since in the end you have to decide among several choices yourself But don’t do what I did 10 years ago and just go to any random hospital you see in your neighborhood

When I was young, my eyes were long and narrow, monolids, small, sleepy-looking eyes Thinking about it now, those kinds of eyes are very common in Korea and I think they have their own charm But in my young mind, I thought if I just had eye surgery, I could at least get somewhere near Won Bin No, actually I hadn’t been thinking about it originally After I got LASEK, I had a detailed eye exam at an ophthalmology clinic, and they said my eyelashes were long and I had ptosis, so my eyes had gotten scratched That was when I thought maybe I should get surgery
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So around 10 years ago, there were lots of plastic surgery clinics near Seohyeon Station in Bundang, and I went around to about five of them At four places, they were like, haha, you’re fine even now, just live as you are, or you’re fine now, why are you trying to do it? Or they said things like, I can’t perform surgery for you One of them had a female director, and she tempted me by showing me all kinds of before-and-after surgery photos She said that since I was a man, she would make it very natural I immediately borrowed money from my dad and paid. I think it was 2 million won at the time I had it done with full-incision double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I was on the operating table, the female director was muttering, ah, why isn’t this eye working like this And she even got irritated at me, saying, patient, open your eyes. No, I told you to put strength into your left eye A few months later, when I went to take after photos The staff member taking the photos looked at me with some kind of pity Thinking about it now, I should have flipped the operating table.. Though I guess I shouldn’t have Right after surgery, the line was very deep, but I thought it was just because it was swollen Even after more time passed, I thought it was just because it was swollen So after about 6 months, that hospital revised only one eye for me Even after the revision surgery, I didn’t like it After about a year or two, that director had moved to another hospital, so I went to find her and asked if anything could be done about my eyes She said, this is the best it can be. If we do more, it’ll look strange. “Just live with it” I can’t really blame a doctor for lacking skill, and she wasn’t an eye specialist either Even now, more than 10 years later, I still hold more than just resentment I also left a 1-star review And I regret the foolish, wrong decision I made when I was young Won Bin, my ass
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After that, I just lived with it People I knew said, why did you do it, what’s wrong with your eyes, don’t stare at me, it feels uncomfortable They found it hard to make eye contact with me If I got even a little tired, the sausage eyes got worse, so people would say, you had eye surgery, right? You need revision surgery And even when people didn’t explicitly say anything, there was this awkwardness in the air that I could feel Ah, the other person is being considerate of me Because of that, my self-esteem dropped a lot, and stress kept piling up inside I’m the type with a pretty dull personality, so I don’t know if I just accepted it and somehow lived with it But people with sensitive personalities probably would have had an extremely hard time At least after about 5 years, maybe because I aged, it did become a little more natural And people I knew got to the point of saying, you look fine now, are you really going to get surgery again? But I was still dissatisfied with them as male eyes, so from about a year ago I started going around to consultations I wonder why I didn’t do it earlier.. But at the time, if I had revision surgery, whether it would succeed was uncertain And I was really worried that if it went wrong, my life would be over It wasn’t quite to the point where I felt I had to do it somehow, even risking failure
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I felt I couldn’t delay any longer Starting around spring of 2023, I joined various places online and searched around I narrowed it down to exactly four places, visited them in person, and had consultations Because they were sausage eyes, every single place recommended the double-line excision method They all seemed confident and said men have good prognoses I’ll write three of the four places I went to using initials, please understand ㅇㅁㄹ Plastic Surgery ㄱㅎㅅ Plastic Surgery ㅈㅇㅈ Plastic Surgery And I had surgery at the remaining one around when it was cold in 2024. For the result, refer to the photos and explanation I asked them to make my eyes as close to monolids as possible I had the double-line excision method, and with double-line excision, scars are probably what people worry about, but the scars don’t show at all For me, I’m very satisfied with this. Now, rather than looking like surgically operated eyes, it’s enough to seem like my eyes were originally like this, right? My left and right eyes aren’t perfectly symmetrical, but that’s also gradually getting better with time It’s only been 3 months since the revision surgery Honestly, I worried a lot about this place too because someone messaged me saying there had been someone with a bad prognosis at this plastic surgery clinic But I think that’s probably the same at any plastic surgery clinic There won’t be 100%. Some people will turn out well, and some people will be ruined You have to pray a lot too. For reference, I have no religion

Now that I’ve written it, did I write a review or an autobiography? I guess there was a lot built up inside me I just wrote as it flowed, and somehow the history part got long Anyway, if I write it like this, you’ll trust me more I didn’t receive a single penny I split up the text so you can read only what you want to read.. Anyway, I hope only happiness fills everyone’s families
And even if you message me about this and that, there’s a very high chance I won’t see it So just read the post quietly and go~
