Nose Surgery Reviews

Two-week review after my first rhinoplasty

I had been self-conscious about my low nose since my twenties and wanted rhinoplasty, but I did not have the courage and kept putting it off. Then I decided to have surgery because I thought that if I did not do it now, I never would. I wanted to naturally raise my low bridge and make my bulbous nose a little slimmer. While looking for a clinic after deciding on rhinoplasty, I saw the nose of a patient who had surgery at RU Plastic Surgery on YouTube and thought it looked beautiful, so I booked a consultation. What impressed me most during the consultation with the director was that he had prepared the consultation content in a PPT and showed it to me. That made me trust him even more, and I booked the surgery. I decided to have surgery using silicone and autologous rib cartilage, and also planned correction for a deviated septum, short nose, and nasolabial angle. After surgery, my nose did not hurt at all; only the area where the autologous rib cartilage was harvested hurt whenever I coughed. So an abdominal binder is essential!! When I looked in the mirror after removing the splint and stitches, I was really happy to see my naturally raised bridge and neatly refined tip.
