Because of complications from contouring surgery, I had scar-tissue injections and extracorporeal shock-wave treatments about four times. My expressions looked unnatural, as if lumps of clay had been stuck all over my face. My cheeks felt heavy, and rather than improving, they became bumpier than before surgery, developed uneven steps, and sagged more.. My only initial goal was for this heavy, stuffy feeling to disappear, but in the end I did not recover completely; it improved only very slightly. The injections hurt too much and caused bruising, so I do not plan to continue. I am not sure whether it is worth the money.
