Nose Re-Surgery

Almost 1 year after contracted-nose revision surgery: my review

I had revision surgery for a contracted nose The columella had retracted and the tip had become deformed, so I used autologous costal cartilage. It has now been almost a year. From the front and the side, the tip looked compressed, so even looking in the mirror was extremely stressful. I did not have a specific nose I wanted; I just wanted a pretty nose A nose that looked better than before.

Overall, the shape and line have improved much more than with my previous nose. Some areas feel slightly asymmetrical, but I have pre-existing facial asymmetry, so that is something I have to take into account. Since this was revision rhinoplasty, silicone, autologous costal cartilage, and septal cartilage were used. A deviated nose and contracted nose were corrected, and possibly autologous dermis was added as a graft.
