Before<Before>After<One month later>It has been one month since I had revision double-eyelid surgery with an incision, after getting non-incisional buried-suture double-eyelid surgery a year ago and having it come undone. I feel like swelling is worse with revision surgery; I guess it must be the difference in surgical method? For my first surgery, they just pinched it with the buried-suture method, but this time I had it done properly with an incision. Now that a month has passed, a lot of the major swelling has gone down, so I’m posting a photo despite feeling embarrassed. Maybe because I’m older, I feel like I shouldn’t have done the buried-suture method for no reason If I had known it would come undone this quickly, I should have done the incision method from the beginning. Unless you’re really young, I definitely recommend incision. I heard that as you age, the eyelid skin stretches and droops, so there’s a higher chance it will come undone; How is the line? Does it look neat?
