When I had my consultation, they said I’d be getting ptosis correction + non-incisional surgery, but both the director and the consultant said I needed epicanthoplasty. Back then, I didn’t know much, and I thought if I got epicanthoplasty I’d end up looking like Shin Dong-yup (you know what I mean, with a narrow space between the eyes..)
So at the counter, I firmly said I wouldn’t do epicanthoplasty.
But all the staff at the counter had this look like, “Do it.. do it.. do it…” <<< I still remember it, damn
In the end, my natural adhesion also came undone, so I got incisional surgery + epicanthoplasty at another hospital. It healed well without scars, but one eye’s double eyelid crease got swallowed, and I’m so pissed. If anyone knows a place that releases double eyelids, please let me know. I’ve had double eyelid surgery 4 times, so I have no attachment left to my eyes anymore.
