It was originally 5 sessions, but there was no improvement, so I received a few more retouch sessions. There was temporary improvement, but as the threads dissolved and the swelling went down, it felt like it went back to its original state (1-2 weeks). I received the procedure over the course of more than almost a year, but there was no complete improvement. They said there were absolutely no side effects, but I developed scars. The procedure cost was more than revision surgery..... I’m looking into surgery.
It seems there are people who say it is effective, but I also think there are many cases similar to mine.
For those considering a procedure because you are afraid of surgery, surgery will probably be more certain and faster. I chose the procedure because I thought I wouldn’t be able to go about daily life for a month after surgery due to swelling or bruising, but with surgery too, the major swelling and bruising went down in 1 week, or 2 weeks at most, and daily life was possible. In that respect, depending on the individual condition of the nose, this procedure may require n sessions, and each time you receive it, you have swelling and bruising for a week. I think even just 2 sessions would make daily life impossible for a longer time than surgery.
