Since it was my first surgery, I had a lot of concerns, and people said it's good to get many consultations, so I chose 6 places through a plastic surgery review app + acquaintances' recommendations and visited them.
1. ㅁㅋ - Famous for revision surgery, and 2 acquaintances had surgery here with very good results, so I asked them and went. First they took a CT scan, then showed in 3D that the surgery would look like this, which I liked, and I liked that they did not recommend unnecessary additional procedures. The staff and director were very kind. * Nasal tip 2 million won, functional nose 550,000 won (no app review writing)
2. ㅇㅇㅂ - Too many people, felt like a factory-style clinic, and the consultation manager was not good. I was also considering ptosis correction, so I consulted about it together, but even though I only wanted the nasal tip, they said absolutely not and that I had to build up the nasal bridge too. They asked how much I had in mind, and when I said 4 million won, they said that was nowhere near enough and kept talking about money, so I passed without seeing the director. (If you're getting a consultation here, you should probably set aside about 2 hours.)
3. ㄴㄴ - Has an otolaryngology specialist. The consultation proceeded in the order of nasal CT scan first -> otolaryngology specialist -> consultation manager -> plastic surgery specialist. During surgery too, the otolaryngology department first performs rhinitis surgery and then hands off to plastic surgery, so that seemed okay. Like the first place, even when I asked whether I should do various things, if it was unnecessary, they told me not to do it. Everyone was kind. * Functional nose 1.7 million won, nasal tip 1.8 million won, but if processed through indemnity insurance, expected 2.1-2.3 million won (discounted price for writing an app review)
4. ㅍㄹㅈ This place felt like it had good postoperative care. If there is a medical issue after surgery, after-service is possible for 1 year. If accompanied by a guardian, the guardian can check CCTV from time to time. If you go alone, you can pay 100,000 won to receive full surgical CCTV footage (they said it's because of staff portrait rights). If there is a simple Botox area you want, they add it, and during surgery they give a vitamin nutrient IV. Afterward, they give 5 days' worth of pumpkin juice, clean nasal sebum when removing nasal stitches, and every visit they use infrared? laser to help bruising and swelling subside. They don't recommend unnecessary procedures, don't push a deposit, and are kind. * Inferior turbinate resection + nasal tip 1.58 million won, double-chin liposuction 600,000 won (not covered by indemnity insurance, discounted price for writing an app review)
5. ㄷㅌㅁ - I saw this place on a blog and asked in the comments, then went. I had a consultation for nasal tip cartilage tying. They said there currently isn't an otolaryngology specialist, so functional nose surgery would be difficult separately. The consultation manager tried to recommend various additional procedures, but after the director examined me, the director did not tell me to do anything unnecessary. During consultation, everyone looked busy and it felt like they were trying to finish quickly. * Cartilage tying 1.7 million won (discounted price for writing an app review)
6. ㄱㅃ - The director and consultation manager were older. The hospital itself was clean, maybe because of the interior, but felt a bit old? Still, they were kind. * Nasal tip 1.98 million won, rhinitis 550,000 won (discounted price for writing an app review)
After seeing proxy surgery and ghost doctors in plastic surgery, I had worries, and although the surgery itself is important, I also thought postoperative care was important, so I had surgery at ㅍㄹㅈ. Today is now day 8, so I'm going to have the stitches removed later.
