(The sausage-looking eyelids + hooked medial epicanthoplasty and depressed scars happened at the hospital where I had my first surgery)
A few years ago, I had revision surgery at another hospital to correct the sausage-looking eyelids, but the ptosis correction at the inner corner of my right eye did not turn out well, and the sausage-eye feeling remained. On the left side, the line looked covered in the middle, so I ended up having secondary revision surgery.
During the consultation, the director pinpointed exactly the points I was unhappy with, so I decided to go ahead.
Even during surgery, I think I sat up and lay down at least 5 times. The key was ptosis correction on the right eye, so during surgery I kept closing and opening my eyes several times, and I could feel that they were doing it meticulously.
Right after surgery, there was less swelling than I expected, and the ptosis correction seemed to have gone well, so my first impression was good.
It has now been over a month and a half, and I’m satisfied. There is still some scar tissue, but I was told it will improve with time, so I’m waiting.
I don’t think I’ll be having any more revision double-eyelid or ptosis correction surgeries now. (Please disregard the medial epicanthoplasty scar, since that happened during my first surgery.)
