Fluid discharge has dried and crusted on the upper ceiling of my nostril near the incision site. At first, I thought it was a booger, so I picked it off a few times. Clear fluid kept coming out and even soaked up to the front of my nose. It keeps crusting and drying repeatedly. Since it’s autologous costal cartilage, can inflammation still occur? And if it is inflammation, could early treatment mean I might not have to remove the autologous costal cartilage? There’s no pain or heat sensation, and it doesn’t seem red. Could it be because my nose is blocked, so I’ve been rinsing often with saline? Everyone, please help me..
