Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Review two months after 230-degree cheekbone reduction plus face and neck lift for prominent cheekbones and hollow cheeks

I had square-jaw and chin-tip surgery a very long time ago. My facial shape became okay over time, but my cheekbones gradually looked more prominent, and as my cheeks became severely hollow, my whole face looked larger, which was stressful. The protruding cheekbones were especially noticeable from the side, and from the front I looked older—not because I had lost weight, but because my face looked sunken. During the consultation, the surgeon said we needed to address the prominent cheekbones, hollow cheeks, and overall sagging together. So instead of simple lifting, I had 230-degree cheekbone reduction together with a facelift and neck lift. Early after surgery, I still had swelling and tightness, and it wasn’t completely natural, but I could clearly feel that my facial line had been refined. I was especially satisfied that the side profile became smoother. Since I had contouring and lifting at the same time, my face still felt swollen up to one month, but whenever I asked the clinic during anxious moments, they explained my condition in detail and kindly guided me, so I got through it without major worries. I heard that few places offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy, but they took great care with laser treatments and other care. Now I’m approaching two months, and not only the cheekbones but also the sagging face and wrinkled neck line have been refined through the face and neck lift, making me look much softer and neater. People around me said lifting makes the impression look harsh, but I’m satisfied because everything was refined naturally without being excessive. These days I’ve been taking many more photos too haha.
