Breast Surgery Reviews

A hopeless breast revision

Three years ago, I had breast surgery and a lift on only my right breast at the same time. But despite the lift, the sagging and asymmetry remained, my cleavage did not come together, and the scars were too dark, so I was unhappy. To make matters worse, I recently developed an animation deformity from the implant, so I ended up having revision surgery again.. I agonized a lot from the consultation to deciding on revision. Everyone is probably the same, but because it was revision surgery I was scared, it cost a lot, and I had to take a break from exercise.. During the consultation, the doctor performed an ultrasound and said the right implant was severely rippling. He accurately pointed out the areas I was dissatisfied with—the sagging of the right breast and the scars—and explained without exaggeration whether they could be improved, which made me want to proceed. In the end, I decided to have revision through the original inframammary scar, a repeat lift only on the right side in the subfascial plane, and Motiva Demi 300 implants. It has been about a week since the revision. Since it is still early, I should probably wait a little longer to see how the symmetry and shape develop. Having surgery at two different hospitals made me realize how much the first hospital had left me to fend for myself. At [Clinic A], on the day of surgery, while I was lying in the recovery room, the nurses and coordinator kept coming by to check my condition, and the doctor also came several times. I was groggy and do not remember everything well, but the doctor explained how the surgery had gone and looked after me while checking the precautions with me. I recently went in for a follow-up, and they carefully checked my condition and continued to manage my care, which made me feel that this was not a hospital that considered its job finished once surgery was over. Because of that, I feel comfortable every time I visit. All surgeries are probably like this, but especially for revision surgery, I hope everyone chooses a hospital that will take responsibility for patients through to the end. This got long. For now, these are my impressions so far. I will post again once I have recovered a little more.
