My mother finds it difficult to write online, so I am posting this for her haha. She is 69 years old this year and underwent lower blepharoplasty. She had said for a long time that her under-eye area bothered her, but because of her age, she had simply put up with it. Then one day she asked me whether many people had under-eye surgery. That was when I started researching with her. After looking around, we consulted Dr. Kim Hyeong-gyu at Hugo Plastic Surgery and proceeded with lower blepharoplasty. My mother initially said she was afraid of surgery. Since she is older, she was probably worried about anesthesia and afraid that her eyes might look strange afterward. So during the consultation, I asked various questions beside her. I went with her on the day of surgery too, and she was so nervous that she kept holding my hand. After surgery, there was swelling under her eyes, so she rested at home for several days. She also had bruising at first and felt a little upset, but it gradually faded with time.
