I had double-eyelid surgery before, but it turned out differently from what I expected, so I was very flustered. The line looked high and also seemed to be loosening, so I started looking into revision double-eyelid surgery. I visited several well-known eye-revision clinics for consultations, and among them I liked Director Kim Jeong-il’s consultation at Lari. He seemed a little firm, but he didn’t insist on unnecessary procedures. He analyzed not only the double-eyelid shape but also eyelid-opening strength, eyebrow position, asymmetry, and so on, which helped me decide on the surgery. Since I had enough excess skin despite the high line, we chose incisional revision double-eyelid surgery with ptosis correction. I was very worried because I swelled a lot afterward, and the swelling lasted quite a while since it was revision surgery, but it gradually went down. As the swelling subsided, the line settled in, and the sausage-eye look also gradually decreased. Before, the line was too high and puffy, making my eyes stand out excessively. Now the line looks more natural, and I’m satisfied because it is the low, defined line I wanted.
