Before the procedure ▶ Although my eyes were relatively large for monolids, they had always looked somehow stuffy. I wanted my eyes themselves to look more open rather than getting double eyelids, so after looking into my options, I had lower and outer canthoplasty at View Plastic Surgery. Consultation and surgery experience ▶ During the consultation, they first listened carefully to what felt stuffy to me, and explained everything in detail beforehand, so I was able to proceed without feeling very nervous. The doctor in charge also explained things kindly, which I appreciated, and the actual surgery felt shorter than I had expected. Recovery and results ▶ I had almost no pain or swelling after surgery, so I could return to daily life right away. The clinic also monitored my recovery carefully, which reassured me. I am still in the process of settling, but I am satisfied because my eyes look less stuffy and a little more open than before.
